Two new Philips OLED TVs have been revealed, both of which offer award-winning P5 AI picture quality, exceptional sound quality by Bowers & Wilkins and next-gen Ambilight to really help make your viewing experience pop with colour.

The stunning new displays are part of the Philips 2022 OLED+ range - the name given to sets designed as all-in-one home theatre models that really push the viewing experience to the next level. The Philips OLED+907 model is available in 48-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch screens while the Philips OLED+937 is available in 65-inch and 77-inch sizes. The latter of which is new to the OLED+ series.

On top of that, both models feature the top version of the latest OLED_EX Panel offering 30% more peak brightness thanks to an integrated heatsink to allow the peak output to be safely increased to 1300 nits.

However, what really makes Philips TVs unlike any of their competitor's sets, is its sublime four-sided Ambilight technology. Ambilight features LEDs mounted on the rear of the set to project light matched to the colours of the screen onto the wall behind. The OLED+907 and OLED+937 both include the Next Generation Ambilight which allows individual control of each LED to create a far more intense and accurate coloured halo. Trust us, it's hard to go back to standard TV watching after experiencing this all-immersive effect.

Both sets offer the widest support for all 4K movie HDR formats including Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+ and HDR10+ Adaptive, HLG, plus, new for 2022, IMAX Enhanced.

The latest dual chip 6th Gen P5 AI processor also makes the OLED+937 unique in being able to adjust HDR content frame-by-frame to ensure the image is always optimised to the local ambient light level.

The sound quality of both models arrives via a dedicated multi-channel speaker system from British audio specialists Bowers & Wilkins. Both sets have systems that are calibrated to match each specific screen size, allowing dialogue to be precisely locked to the centre of the screen.

The OLED+937 sound system is mounted in an external, ultra-rigid enclosure offering true, high-power 5.1.2 cinema-style performance while the OLED+907 has a discrete and elegant 3.1 audio system integrated into the overall silhouette of the TV set.

Whether taking to the clear blue sky in Top Gun: Maverick, journeying into the darkest and dirtiest alleys in all of Gotham in The Batman or exploring the radical reds throughout the multiverse in Everything Everywhere All at Once, this is how all movies should be enjoyed.

Of course, you can always binge the latest series – thanks to Android TV 11 OS with Google Assist giving you straight access to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney Plus, and more – or better yet, enjoy the biggest blockbusters in gaming to the same degree. Imagine swinging through the streets of New York in Marvel's Spider-Man! Ambilight also works with music (via Spotify), so perfect for hosting parties.

One thing that Philips guarantee is quality, with the OLED+ models offering the best performance, picture and sound in one. Just look at T3's five-star review of the Philips OLED+986 if you need further convincing.
