What to expect

Apple's first event of the year will more than likely be dedicated to new iPads and accessories that go with them.

The headline will be the much-rumoured iPad Pro models which will reportedly come with OLED displays for the first time. More recently, it has been suggested that they will also run on Apple's latest silicon – the M4 chip.

In addition, it is almost certain that we'll see a new, larger iPad Air model. It is claimed that it will sport a huge 12.9-inch display, making it a more affordable alternatively to the larger of the iPad Pro models.

There is a suggestion that we'll get a new Apple Pencil too, with Tim Cook even posting a not-so-subtle teaser in the last week. It is said to come with new gesture controls and haptics, and it could even work with the Apple Vision Pro. We shall see soon enough.

Finally, we should get a new Magic Keyboard. Oh, and there are murmurings of a major additional surprise products – but we wouldn't want to spoil it now, would we?
